After the entry of Wireless Montenegro company, Montenegro is now gradually switching from analogue to digital radio systems (TETRA system). The project is realized in three phases:

First phaze

The first phase has been finalized, TETRA signal covered Podgorica, Danilovgrad, Cetinje and the entire coastal area of Montenegro.

Second phase

Preparation for the second phase is underway. The plan for this phase includes coverage with TETRA signal of all other towns to the north of Montenegro. In addition, main roads to the north of Montenegro will also be covered in this phase. The planned finalization deadline for the second phase is by end-2015.

Third phase

In the third phase, it is planned to cover the border areas of Montenegro and any interesting locations that were not covered in the first and the second phase.

In our country, two types of base stations MTS2 and MTS4 are used for coverage with TETRA signal.
